Latest version of AOK application compatibility software reflects market focus on Virtualisation

London, 5th May 2011 – ChangeBASE, the global leader in automated application compatibility testing and remediation, is delighted to announce the launch of AOK 4.1, which is available as of today. This latest version of the market-leading software includes several new features and enhancements and has been developed following feedback from customers and partners to further simplify the enterprise IT migration process.

The most significant development of AOK 4.1 is the integration of AOK VReady-It – an automated solution which converts entire MSI application portfolios to virtual platforms. Having first used AOK Virtualise-It to automatically test native applications for virtual compatibility with a chosen target platform, and also to automatically fix many of the issues found, AOK VReady-It can then be used to automatically convert fixed applications to the chosen virtualised format.

Application Assessment: AOK Assess-It will enable Partners of ChangeBASE to analyse their client’s applications for compatibility with Windows 7, 64-bit as well as their suitability for application virtualisation

Application Testing & Fixing: AOK Test-It and AOK Fix-It now both include new Citrix Hosted and Microsoft RDS Report Groups, enhancing the existing AOK functionality

Reliable Installation: AOK Convert-It can read any install format into the AOK Workbench, simplifying the application conversion process

Automatic Login: AOK Browse-It will automatically login previous users, allowing quick and easy access to websites that would normally require authentication. Additionally, its improved Client Side Capture (CSC) will allow a better understanding and reporting of users’ browsing experience.
