New software gaining in popularity among UK post-production houses

Farnborough, UK - 3 June, 2011 – BamBoo PosT, has become the latest London-based post production house to invest in Autodesk’s new Smoke software for the Mac OS X system (Smoke for Mac). One of the main reasons for choosing Smoke for Mac was that it could be easily integrated into this existing infrastructure. Smoke for Mac can be used adjacent to Avid Media Composer and Final Cut for a seamless workflow, therefore, extending the investment in a firm’s legacy solutions.  Because it runs on a Mac computer, it takes up very little extra space – a particularly apposite consideration in central London where real estate is highly expensive.
