Video Communication Solution Advisor of the Year in EMEA
London, 27 February 2014 - Polycom, one of the two leading manufacturers of video communication solutions, has named BIS as the Polycom Solution Advisor of the Year (EMEA region). The Polycom Awards are presented annually to those partners that distinguish themselves by their performance, successful rollout of interesting projects, business results and commitment to jointly develop innovative solutions.
Jeroen Rens, Business Development Manager Video Communications & Collaboration at BIS, was in Vancouver (Canada) on behalf of BIS to receive the award. A special experience for this driving force behind the successful BIS video communication division. "I cannot say anything else than that this Award is recognition for all the work we have done and still do as a team. Every day, we do our very best to provide the best possible solution to our clients, one that really contributes to the achievement of business objectives and is also in line with the existing requirements and wishes. I take pride in receiving this award and would like to thank the entire team and congratulate them on this great achievement!"
In the Netherlands, BIS - part of Mood Media Corporation (TSX:MM/LSE AIM:MM) - is based in Almere, Eindhoven and Ridderkerk, but BIS also has offices in Mechelen (BE), London (UK), Paris (FR) and Hamburg (GE). BIS advises, designs and implements about 5,000 spaces annually, which are furnished with all conceivable audio visual, IT and collaboration solutions. Jean Pierre Overbeek, CEO of the international BIS Group: "For BIS, this Polycom Award confirms that we are following the right strategy with our video communication and collaboration solutions. The fact that we have grown to a level where we are seen as one of the leading specialists in this field is seen as a great compliment by us. That "we have left behind" all other audiovisual and video communication parties throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa is something that we feel really good about! Especially since this recognition comes from one of the two leading video communication manufacturers in the world."
