Aspect Enterprise Solutions today launches enhanced XML feed functionality to its commodity market data and news platform, AspectDSC. AspectDSC provides real-time and historical information to traders and this new delivery feature offers users further flexibility and customization options within the system.
AspectDSC is a decision support center for commodities traders and risk managers, providing real-time and historical news and prices from multiple exchanges and sources including, Platts, ICE, NYMEX, CME, LME, Dow Jones and more.
Delivered in the Cloud as a Software-as-a-Service application, AspectDSC already gives users powerful analytical tools to support their trading decisions, delivered in one single view along with prices and data. As it’s Web-based, the platform can be accessed from any PC or laptop, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, Android or Windows-enabled mobile, so users can keep up with the market wherever they are.
The new XML delivery format allows clients to select live, end-of-day or delayed data from various exchanges and providers which is important to them, to be combined into one stream for distribution to all users in the group via email, FTP, Intranet sites or other means. The data can also be fed directly into CTRM systems for further analysis and reporting.
Clients’ own proprietary data can also be incorporated into the XML feed, consolidated with data from other providers and broadcast to all authorized users.
Steve Hughes, CEO at Aspect says, “We have a number of international clients now using the XML feed. One combines their own company prices with live information from ICE and NYMEX, then distributes the channel to all offices worldwide and displays it using the AspectDSC Wallboard. It’s a great way to get vital information to all parties at the same time and can be hosted on clients’ intranet sites for complete control.”
