Dublin, 21st September 2011 – arvato is set to create up to 150 highly skilled jobs in its finance division in Ireland over the next three years, with more than 30 vacancies currently available. These new roles in IT, consulting, finance and accounting, project management and customer service, will support the increased demand for private and public BPO services in Ireland and internationally. The announcement comes as arvato Finance celebrates its 15th anniversary.
Making the announcement Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD said “I am delighted that arvato, a leading global outsourcing provider, is adding 150 jobs to its very substantial presence in Ireland, where it already employs 1,200 people. arvato makes a very valuable contribution to the business services sector in Ireland and I would like to congratulate the company as it celebrates its 15 year anniversary in Dublin and offer my Government’s support as it builds its presence further.”
arvato will mark the anniversary with a conference for 100 clients and business partners in Dublin today. Featuring top executives from leading blue chip companies and senior government officials, industry experts will discuss current trends and opportunities for outsourcing in an increasingly virtual global economy.
With a headcount growth rate of 15% year-on-year, arvato already employs more than 1,200 people in Ireland across its Global Finance BPO and IT/High-tech services.
Dublin is a strategic centre of knowledge and innovation for arvato Finance, following the formation of the company in 1996 when AOL outsourced its back office operations in Europe. arvato provides innovative BPO services across the full customer lifecycle, including; credit and collections, merchant services, customer services, finance and accounting and consultancy services for local and international companies.
