14th November 2007 - Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, Greener Offers (www.greeneroffers.com) lets you offset carbon as you shop with the most recognisable retailers in the UK.  The addition of iTunes, Boots, Boden, Woolworths, Thorntons, and many others make it easy for everyone to do all of their Christmas shopping online – reducing emissions that would occur by driving to the shops and offsetting CO2 all at the same time.

For the uninitiated, Greener Offers is a non profit-making website which brings together many of the top online stores in the UK.  This includes household names such as Amazon, Boden, Goldsmiths, Harrods, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us,  – as well as over 100 others! As a reward for promoting their online stores Greener Offers receives a commission for every sale that originates on the Greener Offers site.  Half of that commission is donated directly to Climate Care to offset CO2 emissions. The other half contributed to the cost of running the site.  Since our launch in the summer, we’ve already been able to offset approximately 70 tonnes of CO2!
