AIRCOM International, the leading independent network design and optimisation software and solutions provider, will join more than 60 of Zain’s international network partners at its 2013 Technology Conference between the 1st – 3rd December in Dubai. AIRCOM will join discussions with other consultants and partners about Zain’s technical roadmaps, new technologies and success stories.

At the conference, Zain, a leading telecommunications operator across the Middle East and Africa, will bring together its Network and IT partners to discuss and agree new approaches to future network evolutions. The results of the conference will be integrated into the company’s evolving strategy for its continued growth and leadership in the MEA region. AIRCOM’s involvement at the conference will strengthen its collaboration with the Zain Group, which operates and manages networks in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and South Sudan.

Steve Bowker, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at AIRCOM, will deliver a presentation on ‘Small Cells planning for 4th Generation networks’ using real network data to demonstrate the importance of integrated planning and feedback from live networks, particularly in an era of Self Optimizing Networks. The presentation will discuss how to optimize performance and reduce CAPEX and OPEX costs.

Steve Bowker explained the importance to AIRCOM of attending and participating in this event: “Being a part of Zain’s annual conference is key to helping us take a holistic view of the market within which we operate. We are committed to supporting and collaborating with operators and other technology providers, to ensure optimal customer experience and network performance through efficient network planning and optimisation. This is crucial in an era of increasing technology complexity and demanding data consuming services.”

Mr. Hisham Allam, ZAIN CTO, said, "The Zain Technology Event 2013 is a platform for all of Zain’s management and partners to exchange telecom expertise, tools and technologies. It is an ideal opportunity to future-proof Zain through familiarizing ourselves with the latest technologies and solutions from our communication service providers and network partners, who are all working towards the same goal of operational success and customer satisfaction.”
