Adeptra is recognised by The Sunday Times Tech Track 100
« Posted: September 22, 2011, 09:10:59 PM »

Financial technology market leader ranks among top technology companies for highest sustained revenue growth; 37.4% compound annual growth rate from 2008 to 2010

Reading, UK - 22 September 2011 - Adeptra, the leader in auto-resolution technologies, has been recognised by The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 for demonstrating outstanding sales growth for the sixth consecutive year and for the seventh year overall.

The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 ranks the top 100 private British tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the previous three years. It is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each September, with an awards event in November and regional events throughout the year. Adeptra is one of only two companies to receive the distinction seven times since the Tech Track began.

Adeptra operates a unique global footprint focused on the needs of organisations engaged in consumer credit and risk management in EMEA, APAC and the Americas. Its customer base includes half of North America’s top ten financial institutions, seven of the ten leading UK card issuers, and four of the top five Australian card issuers. Each year Adeptra’s clients perform hundreds of millions of interactions with end-consumers, each fully-adapted to local needs, languages and expectations.

Simon Smith, CFO of Adeptra said: “Growing a successful business in these economic times requires focus, commitment, solid ability and a loyal customer base. Being the only company included for the seventh time in this year’s Sunday Times Tech Track 100 is testament to the strength of our risk and credit management solutions, the demonstrable value proposition that we deliver each and every day, and our global team’s ability to deliver solutions that meet our customer’s needs. In short, we have become a key vendor in the markets we serve and to our customers; we are a team of trusted advisors and experts. We have invested heavily in R&D to create leading-edge technologies that are unmatched in our marketplace. Coupled with our increased global reach, we have now positioned ourselves to accelerate growth and achieve outstanding financial performance.”

In his report for The Sunday Times on 18 September 2011, Nick Britton, head of Research and Editorial for Fast Track, said: “Technology companies can change the way we live but they are difficult businesses to run. Research and development are capital-intensive, and highly-skilled staff are often needed to deliver specialist services. When the economy is weak, the risks faced by innovative ventures are compounded. These difficulties have not fazed the private companies in the eleventh Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.”

Recent Adeptra product innovations include Adeptra MobileDirect, a smartphone application that enables banks and other card issuers to interact with consumers. With personalised real-time mobile communications, Adeptra MobileDirect increases accuracy, speed and ultimately consumer satisfaction. Adeptra also recently launched several innovative event-based solutions predicated on the company’s sophisticated Decision Engine software, which enable consumer-facing organisations to identify and harness opportunities relating to event-based servicing and event-based marketing.
