New Partnership to Further Market Expansion & Provide Increased Platform Choice
May 13th, 2009, Berkeley, CA – Adax Inc, an industry leader in high-performance signaling infrastructure, has announced a partnership with NewNet Communications Technologies (CT), a leading provider of SS7 and Short Message Server solutions for wireless, IP, and wireline networks. This relationship will facilitate NewNet CT’s expansion into new markets while continuing to exceed the needs of their existing customer base.
Adax was chosen for its key feature set and high performance products across multiple architectures. NewNet CT has integrated the Adax HDC3 PCI Express SS7 interface card into its world class Distributed7 Signaling Platform. The low-profile PCIe version (HDC3-LPe) supports up to 124 low speed SS7 links or 4 High Speed Links per card, making it one of the highest density interface offerings available on the market today. This new card extends NewNet CT’s current SS7 board portfolio by allowing communication equipment manufacturers and service providers to adopt high performance, and low-cost 1U and 2U profile servers supporting only low-profile PCIe form factor cards that are becoming increasingly popular in the communications industry.
“NewNet CT is committed to providing exceptional value and performance to our customers on the newest host platforms in the market” said Kutluk Uslu, NewNet CT’s Chief Technology Officer. “The Adax HDC3 PCI Express offering will enable applications developed on our industry leading Distributed7 signaling solution to be deployed using the most advanced, higher performance yet smaller footprint and more cost-effective computing platforms available today”
The NewNet CT Distributed7 solution supports multiple cards per host and up to eight hosts per system, providing a highly flexible and scalable solution. The new PCI Express format support enables equipment manufacturers and service providers to cost-effectively expand network and system capacity and meet the growing subscriber demands.
