This very simple audio recording process is easy, too.
1- Download the free open source program at Sourceforge.. Also get the plug-in LAME MP3. Install the program and extract the plug-in in the same folder.
2- Open the program. All is set, only I turned up the output and the input volumes to max. Using the mic that is connected to your computer, and making sure that the wire is not intertwined with anything else, for that causes static, click on the button with the dot and speak away. You can just delete anything not to your liking by clicking on the x in the upper left corner of the field that displays your sound-wave. Should you record too many times and hear static, just re-install the program and start over.
3- When all is satisfactory, click on file and export MP3. Type in the name of your file and where to save it. Then the program will ask you for the lame_enc.dll, which is in the audacity folder. Upon opening it, you can enter the title of your recording and a comment to be visible on the listener's media player.
4- Link your web page to your new .mp3 file and place a link to the Windows Media Player beside it. [Download Free Windows Media Player]
Done!
Now add background music to it... (The program lets you do amazing things.)
