What is it ?

RSS is a family of XML file formats for Web syndication usually used by news sites and weblogs. The abbreviation is used to refer to the following standards:

* Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91)

* RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)

* Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)

RSS technology allow internet users to subscribe to wesites that provide RSS feed, This way you can share your websites content (news or weblogs) by providing a RSS feed link for your visitors.

How to create RSS ?

You don't have to learn XML to have RSS feed for your site,http://www.feedburner.com can create your RSS feed freely. Just type in your sites URL then proceed to the next steps, and feedburner will provide a link to your RSS feed, for example http://feeds.feedburner.com/yoursite_feed_name

Now put the feed URL onto your website

In order for visitors/newsreaders to subscribe your feed, you need to put HTML code on anywhere you like within your website page.
