LaunchPort is a pedestal that will charge your iPod, Phone or iPad by magnetic induction. LaunchPorts are reassuringly luxurious, and the finishes will match just about any décor.



Inductive charging transfers power from the Strut pedestal via the special matching case, charging an iPad without any other connections. You just place the iPad-in-its-case on the pedestal – there is also a wall-mounted version – and it automatically begins re-charging the device. Neodymium magnets secure the case to the pedestal, which rotates, tilts and pivots to any desired angle to position the iPad for comfortable usage even when it is recharging.

Enhancing its use even further, the iPad case employs an audio waveguide system that routes sound from the rear-facing iPad speaker forward, producing greater sound levels and increasing the clarity over a stand-alone iPad. The case is easily removed for travel or remote iPad usage.

The first of its kind a luxury breathtaking underwater villas that lets you to sleep with the fishes in Dubai. Created by the Kleindienst Group, the three-level luxury boathouses, called the "Floating Seahorse", is the city’s latest lavish and futuristic development. The villas are slated for completion in 2016 and the first tenants are expected to move in by 2017.



The Floating Seahorse will be uniquely fabricated using high quality marine approved materials and technology. Each 1,700-square-foot luxury retreat comprises three levels, two of which are above water and one located below. The middle floor includes a sun deck, indoor living space, kitchen, and dining room, while the topmost floor includes a second sun deck, glass-bottomed jacuzzi, and minibar. The master bedroom and bathroom are located on the submerged level and are surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views of the Persian Gulf waters and coral reef.
There are plans to create an artificial coral reef beneath the luxury retreats. It will be a protected area in which seahorses can safely live and breed. The Seahorse homes are selling for 6.5 million AED ($1.8 million). Only 42 Floating Seahorses available in the world, out of which 35 have already been sold.

U.S Aerospace technology company Windspeed has filed a new patent for aircraft passenger seats that offer a view from the top of the plane called SkyDeck. This concept aims to give passengers an even better view of the skies than the pilot's by seating them on top of the plane, inside a transparent bubble-style canopy. Windspeed says its concept could offer an alternative to current inflight boredom on long-haul flights.



Windspeed says it could be a premium offering on executive jets or a pay per view option on commercial aircraft. Passengers can access the seats, either via an elevator or staircase. Once in the seats, passengers can use controls to rotate themselves through 360 degrees, potentially giving them better views of sky. Windspeed says smaller aircraft could be fitted with single SkyDeck seats.

Windspeed says its design, though yet to undergo full testing, will not interfere with the aircraft's handling. The fighter-jet strength canopy is made of materials used in supersonic fighter jets, strong enough to withstand birdstrikes and other stress factors. An aerodynamic "teardrop" shape will help reduce the drag factor. Anti-condensation film will be applied to stop it fogging up and a UV-protection coating will stop passengers being frazzled by the sun.
