Title: Using anonymous servers (not just surfing)
Post by: pizzaboy on March 30, 2008, 03:24:59 AM
When using the internet (surfing and using external client applications), is it possible to make the receivers of that data think that I'm in another country?

I've tried using an IP from an anonymous servers list, and changing it through internet explorer seems ok, but how can ensure that any client applications I'm running which require internet connections are also using the anonymous server? I mean changing it through IE doesn't mean the actual internet connection is hidden or modified right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If you are using high anonymous proxy server, it is very difficult to trace your location by anyone as your ip and country will be shown as a different. After applying the proxy, you can check your location at http://www.cmyip.com

You can also check the location of the given IP Address at http://www.geobytes.com/iplocator.htm

Do let me know if you still have any query regarding this subject..
