Title: Help me! I'm trying to avoid doing this twice. -Related to Ringtones + Pictures. Post by: CClaraS on March 29, 2008, 02:54:56 PM Recently my Smartphone (a Samsung Blackjack II) got broken and I had to get a new one. But at the moment of putting the SD card (with all the ringtones and pictures that I had saved on the other phone), I couldn't find a lot of them. I check them and they were protected.
Is there a way I can take away the protection? Where I got them, they are free, but it would be a big pain in the ____ downloading them all over again. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance for the help you can offer me. Title: Re: Help me! I'm trying to avoid doing this twice. -Related to Ringtones + Pictures. Post by: Mark David on March 30, 2008, 02:00:42 PM Hi Clara,
You can access your sd card using a card reader and modify or delete the files stored in it easily. just copy them from the sd card to your system and the recopy them to your sd card. Now you'll be able to access all the files on your phone. Let me know if u still face any problem. Regards Mark David Title: Re: Help me! I did that, but when I look for the image on the new phone, the image has a lock and I can see or use the image on the new phone. About the Ringtones: When I check it on my computer they don't have a "mp3" end.... Example: Yael Naim - New Soul.mp3-drm Why is that? What the "drm" means? Title: Re: Help me! Post by: Lorenna on April 03, 2008, 11:13:38 PM I checked, but it doesn't have a trial area. Is there a place where I could get a trial from the program?
Title: Re: Help me! I'm trying to avoid doing this twice. -Related to Ringtones + Pictures. Post by: CClaraS on April 04, 2008, 02:37:58 AM I wonder about the same.... A trial area, so I can check the program out.
Ok, that's about the ringtones, but I'm still wondering about the images too. I accesses my SD Card using a card reader and copied the files (images) and stored them. But when I look for the image on the new phone, the image has a lock and I can't see or use the image on the new phone. How come? What can I do to take the protection off the images? One more thing is that the images (and music) that were saved directly on the SD Card are saved with the end ".menc" (example: "Angel Butterfly.jpg.3e906d84.menc"). What does that mean?
