Centrix Software has been selected as a principle business partner by the London Councils to transform the delivery of public services in London

New Ernst & Young ‘London Ventures' programme commits to help public sector organisations drive innovation and cost efficiencies.

27th May 2015 - Centrix Software and Ernst & Young, in partnership with London Councils, are excited to announce a commitment to the London Ventures programme, an initiative designed to transform the delivery of public services in London, drive innovation and transform public services delivery.

Over the past few years, Centrix Software has seen a significant growth in organisations using usage analytics as a way to understand their current IT environments, helping them to rationalise unused applications, consolidate similar ones, and deliver best value in future transformation projects such as cloud initiatives and mobile device management projects.

Centrix Software's SaaS based solution, WorkSpace iQ, analyses usage of users' devices, applications and content, whether delivered locally, virtually or via the cloud. These usage insights shape the way public sector organisations maintain, choose and deliver technologies to balance user and business needs.

Chair of London Councils' Capital Ambition Board, Edward Lord OBE, said "The Capital Ambition Board recognise the need to have good business intelligence to make tactical ICT decisions.

"We have approved Centrix Software's Workspace iQ to provide just that, helping the 32 Boroughs and the City of London to reduce wasted expenditure on unused software."

Centrix Software's WorkSpace iQ usage tool helps address runaway software costs (for example, Centrix Software consistently finds 75 per cent of most organisations' software is unused and is therefore is a wasted expenditure which could be utilised elsewhere in other IT projects and innovations) and improves end user focus on delivering the right tools to do the job, which can save organisations up to £200 in desktop total cost of ownership (TCO), per device per year. Centrix Software can help Local Government break this cycle of increasing software spend and take back control of their ICT environment.

With actual device, application and content usage data, the London Authorities, through this new venture, will be able to develop the delivery of public services in London and drive innovative ideas and concepts.
