Added functionality will streamline new invention flow and communication for integrated IP Portfolio Management

London, UK – 21 May, 2015 - FusionExperience, the cloud and big data solutions provider, has today announced the availability of a new ‘Inventor’s Portal’ that will further strengthen NovumIP, the first full end-to-end Intellectual Property (IP) Lifecycle Management application in the cloud.

NovumIP has enabled corporates to manage the complete IP Portfolio Management Lifecycle securely and in one place, without the need for multiple systems. With NovumIP’s new Inventor’s Portal, however, this functionality will be extended to inventors for the first time.

The cloud-based portal offers inventors the ability to track all processes in the patenting lifecycle in one place, with features that include:

    The ability for inventors and co-inventors to submit an idea, along with all the associated details, drawings, and so on.
    Advanced collaboration features that allow ideas to be discussed and refined into something that is unique, useable and profitable.
    New workflow features, contained within a ‘Patent Board’, to control the company’s approval process, help with filing and/or to reserve rights.
    Auto-generation of decision letters and other correspondence to ensure straight through processing.
    The automation of interfaces to the docketing system for filing.
