Title: Genus Law Chooses Zylpha Systems To Integrate With Peppermint
Post by: RealWire on April 28, 2015, 07:36:14 PM
Modern corporate law firm, Genus Law has chosen document bundling systems from the UK's leading legal systems innovator Zylpha (www.zylpha.com). The systems incorporate a SharePoint integration with Peppermint Practice Management software. Genus Law, which uses the Peppermint Legal Service Platform to manage its corporate, commercial and employment practice work, will produce electronic document bundles through Zylpha for ongoing cases, full disclosure packs, due diligence files and investigations. Genus Law will also use Zylpha to produce e-bibles to enhance the presentation of documents to clients. Use of the system forms part of the company's forward-looking strategy to incorporate market-leading, cloud-based technology to improve the customer experience and overall service delivery. The benefits of using Zylpha include a significant increase in the speed of preparing bundles and a reduction in the costs of stationery, storage and communication charges such as courier costs.

Andy Reilly, Director of IT and Projects at Genus Law believes that Zylpha has made a major contribution to improving working practices. In his view, "Zylpha is an ideal tool for pulling documents together, whether this is for complete case files or for grouping documents generally. In this respect the integration with the Peppermint Platform works very well in practice. Complex bundles that used to take hours to prepare or amend can now be produced in a little over 10 minutes - that's about 5% of the time it took previously. In terms of the bottom line, this represents a massive saving of time and money.

"Beyond the product itself though, it is the relationship we have built with Zylpha that counts for a great deal. We are able to work very closely with them and they have given us valuable support and advice during the implementation of the system. It's clear that there is a lawyer behind the company as they really do understand what we need to achieve and their tremendous knowledge of legal technology, in general, is an invaluable support. We look forward to building upon this relationship going forwards."

For his part, Tim Long CEO of Zylpha welcomed Andy Reilly's comments adding, "Genus Law has an innovative business model that combines high quality legal advice and responsive client-focused delivery with operational efficiencies driven by modern systems. To achieve this effectively Genus Law makes full use of their technology investment and we are delighted that they have chosen Zylpha Systems to integrate with their Peppermint practice and case management system. We are also impressed by the creativity they have shown is using the benefits of our technology on the commercial side too. We look forward to working closely with them on other business areas where Zylpha might also deliver benefits."
