National Outsourcing Association shortlists Attenda Greenergy Project for the ‘Excellence in IT Delivery’ Award 2015

A major IT transformation project to create the vision, and deliver a strategy to achieve improved value for Greenergy from its IT investments; resourced by an Attenda Consulting and Professional Services team, underpinned by Attenda’s managed service for Business Critical IT.

London – April 23, 2015 – Attenda Limited, the Business Critical IT company, today announced that it has been shortlisted for the Excellence in IT Delivery Award, in the National Outsourcing Association 3rd Annual Professional Awards.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony which is taking place on Thursday 21st May, at the Emirates Stadium, home to Arsenal Football Club. The Awards are dedicated to the talent employed in the UK Outsourcing sector, recognising those who have delivered the very best in transformational sourcing.
Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Mark Fowle, CEO, Attenda says “We are delighted to be nominated onto the shortlist for this prestigious award, alongside other leaders in the outsourcing industry. This represents independent validation of our unique capability in providing transformational end-to-end review, design and change services, with our co-location and managed services underpinning the change.”
The goal of this IT transformation project was to create a vision, and deliver and implement a strategy to achieve improved value for Greenergy from its IT investments. Resourced by an Attenda Consulting and Professional Services team, the project took a highly innovative approach; with leadership at Board Level, through the appointment of an interim CIO, to restore confidence in the effectiveness and value of the IT investments, and with an operational team to implement and support the change.
Ryan Tunstall, Director, Consulting and Professional Services, Attenda adds “For Greenergy, the outcome from this engagement was, for the first time, a defined IT strategy, technology roadmap and data centre strategy; with a team of people to implement and support that strategy.”
Consulting and Professional Services form an important part of Attenda’s Hybrid IT capability, with services specifically designed to meet Client needs. Working at strategic and operational level to review the current IT landscape from a business and technology viewpoint, recommend how to achieve the right hybrid model, define a clear transformation and transition approach; and once operational, providing location and platform independent monitoring and management of complex hybrid IT environments.
