TEOCO will provide Danish based TDC Group with updates of its performance management solution over the next five years

FAIRFAX, VA, USA AND LEATHERHEAD, UK – 2 MARCH 2015 -- TEOCO, the leading provider of assurance, analytics and optimization solutions to communications service providers (CSPs), today announces that TDC Group, a provider of fixed and mobile telecom services, internet access and digital TV in Scandinavia, has selected OPTIMA, TEOCO’s performance management tool, to improve the performance of its mobile network in Denmark.
With the OPTIMA solution, TDC Group will reduce the costs of managing the mobile network, while benefitting from a range of new features and functionalities. These include enriched performance management data analysis via a harmonisation layer and a slick, intuitive web-based user interface. OPTIMA will also provide additional ‘out of the box’ network optimisation capabilities.
TDC Group’s aim is to incorporate new network elements such as LTE radio and new core network elements into the updated OPTIMA Solution. With its focus on both Managed Services and Network Infrastructure, TDC Group will also introduce the solution to its new mobile network infrastructure vendor.
“TEOCO has proven to be a very reliable partner to TDC Group. The seamless integration of OPTIMA with our existing software and systems will mean our network will benefit from lower costs, and our users will enjoy a better experience,” said Jacob Geertsen, Procurement Manager at TDC Group.
“As a long-term and valued TEOCO customer, TDC Group has enjoyed the benefits that our OPTIMA solution delivers,” said Jos Grond Head of Sales, North Europe at TEOCO. “OPTIMA provides mobile operators with an unparalleled view of their entire network performance with increased flexibility and improved usability.”
TDC Group’s roll-out of the new solution began in August last year, with the first part of the solution going live in early October 2014.
