London, UK: 4 October 2012 - Global IT vendor Rittal will host a live virtual demo as it showcases its suite of data centre security products at IP EXPO on 17 and 18 October at London's Earls Court 2.

The firm will display its physical IT security suite, dubbed Rittal - The System, on its stand G20 during the show. On the stand, the firm will host a virtual mock up of a bomb-proof room inside a data centre, which it will then set on fire to demonstrate how its products mitigate risk.

During the two-day event, Rittal will focus on its unique product portfolio including bomb-proof rooms, cabinets, cooling, power distribution and monitoring and control ideal for the IT data centre market.

John Wilkins, UK Marketing Manager at Rittal, said: "Future-proofing the data centre is integral and IP EXPO is a great opportunity to display that with our unique virtual demo on the stand.

"Regardless of whether a company has a few racks or several hundred servers, every CIO is reliant upon availability and efficiency. Rittal - The system is the perfectly coordinated platform for this purpose."

Rittal's system includes robust racks for server and network technology, efficient power supply and protection, and energy-saving climate control components. The system is rounded off by monitoring and security solutions, the RiZone management software, coupled with the company's global customer service.

IP EXPO, the UK’s number one IT infrastructure event, will showcase the latest solutions for IP Networks, Wireless, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Security. Security will play a key role in this year’s show alongside BYOD, and Big Data as IT departments continue to grow and change.
