Title: Savills Choose Azzurri For New Network And Managed Service Contract
Post by: RealWire on October 01, 2012, 09:13:16 PM
International real estate advisor Savills has chosen Azzurri Communications to implement and manage a new Wide Area Network (WAN) across its 80 UK branches. The three year contract will see all connectivity, IP telephony and associated applications run over Azzurri’s Intelligent Cloud-Optimised Network (ICON) platform, to help Savills reduce complexity and operate more cost effectively.  ICON, introduced to the market in late 2011, is Azzurri’s flagship virtual network, which aggregates and manages connectivity and services from over 20 best of breed communication providers.

Rayden King, Network Manager for Savills, said: “Our aim for the new WAN was to procure an agile and scalable network, supported by a trusted managed service partner. Our business imperative was to ensure flexibility to allow us to adapt the technology architecture within the contract period if needed, and add more bandwidth should the business require it.”

Vim Vithaldas, CEO, Azzurri Communications, said: “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Savills, having provided a fully managed service for their existing telecoms infrastructure for a number of years. I believe this contract award demonstrates the long-term value Azzurri is able to bring to its customers. It’s also very pleasing to see the market traction ICON is gaining, with existing and new customers recognising the benefits of moving to a highly resilient, secure and scalable network.”
