Prague, Czech Republic, 19 July 2012 - MINGLE GAMES has announced the release of the exciting new FREE action puzzle game “Save the Birds.”  The release of the Windows Phone version on June 20 closely followed the successful release of the iPod, iPad, and Android versions on May 25.

“Save the Birds” is a simple, single player, logic based action puzzle game, aimed at providing hours of fun and stimulation whether at home, work, or during an extended journey.  “Save the Birds” combines a variety of distinctive elements, making it suitable for all age and gender demographics.

The highly addictive central gameplay platform focuses on two aliens, who are on Earth with the mission to save the endangered population of birds who are at risk due to excessive timber felling.  Controlling one alien from the bottom of the screen, the player must catch eggs as they fall from the trees, and deliver them safely back to their nest, while tackling various obstacles along the way.  Achieving success on each of the 40 timed levels comes by scoring 60% or better.

While similar to other games in this category, “Save the Birds” attracts and demands the attention of anyone who plays the game due to its distinct music, real time day or night environment, and deceptive level of difficulty.

“Save the Birds” comes ready to integrate with several of the world’s best-loved social networks, including Twitter, Facebook, GREE, and Apple Game Center.  This allows users to post their scores and compete with their friends or users from around the world, as well as measure their progress against a pre-determined set of game achievements in a similar manner to X-Box LIVE.

In addition to social network integration, successful players of “Save the Birds” will find further motivation through being able to take advantage of real life rewards from a number of leading global brands through the games’ partnership with the innovative Kiip platform.

A recent update to “Save the Birds” has added an additional 20 levels to the game, as well as a new character with which to play the game.  There are several further planned regular updates to “Save the Birds,” which will aim to enhance the user experience to a greater degree, increase the challenges players face, and further develop the built in game rewards.
