London 9 March, 2011: Econsultancy is to partner with AdMonsters for the first time, to launch a series of training courses to be held in London and New York, through 2011. The courses leave attendees with a thorough understanding of all aspects of Online Ad Operations and is custom tailored for anyone - from traffickers to managers - new to the industry.

Econsultancy, the community for the world's digital marketing and e-commerce professionals, and AdMonsters, the global community of ad operations and technology leaders, will jointly run a set of six training courses – three in London and three in New York, with the first taking place in New York in April. Small class sizes of approximately 10-20 attendees ensure that each participant receives the hands-on training they need, as well as the ability to interact with their class mates and the instructor.

The course, Ad Ops for Beginners, covers everything someone new to ad operations needs to know to get up to speed in ad ops.  Specific subject areas covered include ad-serving technology, campaign monitoring and optimisation, quality assurance, reporting, and inventory management. Companies can save on the significant time and costs required to bring on board new ad ops staff; and have the knowledge that their team returns from training with the skills and an understanding to be as effective as possible in their roles.

The first course will be held in New York City on 14 April 2011, and in London on 10 May 2011. The full course programme and booking details can be found at http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/topics/advertising

Matt O’Neill, President of AdMonsters says, “This is a perfect balance of two specialist organisations, by combining our complementary offerings we can provide a comprehensive grounding in the industry for new-comers to the business of ad ops.  One of the biggest challenges for companies is for ad ops managers to train new staff; it’s not a natural skill and is generally time-consuming and costly.  These courses are designed to make this a time-efficient, cost-effective way to train new junior staff to integrate into the ad ops teams within their organisations.”

Craig Hanna, Course Director for Econsultancy says, “The synergy between AdMonsters and Econsultancy is what is key, we are both membership organisations which operate to support our members in their professional lives from career development to networking. Why this works particularly well in training is because whilst AdMonsters lives and breathes ad ops and can bring real depth to the content, we’re all about digital marketing and have a large and well-established training division, to put the academic structure and framework in place. Together, we feel this is a unique course which will benefit individuals starting out in the industry.”
