Netgem TV to Illustrate Open IPTV Forum’s Spec Guidelines and Declarative App Application Environnement

Paris, France, November 27th, 2009. Netgem (www.netgem.com) a leading provider of IPTV technology and services to Telecom operators worldwide, today confirmed it would be demonstrating its next generation software, NETGEM @TV, on the Open IPTV Forum (www.oipf.tv), booth (Stand 7 & 8) at the IPTV World Forum Asia exhibition in Hong Kong from December 1st – 2nd (www.iptv-asia.com).

After announcing its selection by Telstra for the T-Box project in Australia, Netgem is pursuing its international development plan within the IPTV market. “The Asia Pacific region has a great potential for Netgem to provide both pure IPTV and Hybrid TV service to Telecom operators looking for innovative solutions to differentiate their TV offering and drive ARPU,” explained Netgem’s Managing Director, Christophe Aulnette who is representing Netgem at the IPTV Form Asia event.

Netgem will be presenting its innovative NetgemTV IPTV middleware, which demonstrates elements of the Declarative Application Environment (DAE) of the Open IPTV Forum (OIPF) Release 1 specifications. The DAE is a declarative language based environment for presentation of user interfaces, including scripting support for interaction and access to other client functions.
