Manchester Airport renews contract with Polymorph
« Posted: July 17, 2012, 10:05:10 PM »

Polymorph, the leading IT software and services company, has announced the contract renewal to supply business critical software services to Manchester Airport. From July this year, the two-year contract will involve development and support of existing and new applications and supporting the day-to-day operations of the UK’s third busiest airport.

The contract renewal will involve projects focusing on operational areas such as duty manager logs, Escape Lounge management, management of grants for sound insulation as well as accident and claims management amongst others, helping to improve the operational efficiency of the airport.

With the renewal of this contract, Polymorph will be working closely with Manchester Airport’s information systems team, gathering and documenting user requirements and developing the appropriate solutions to meet these needs. Manchester Airport needed a flexible software partner to not only work with current airport technology, but also one that could provide a framework to adapt to using other technologies in the future. Polymorph’s history with Manchester Airport gives it a deep understanding of the organisation and this contract renewal represents a further step in the relationship.

Matt Stephenson, Director of IS Strategy & Development at Manchester Airports Group reflects on the partnership: “We are delighted to have renewed our relationship with Polymorph for a further two years. The portfolio of applications they develop and support for us is essential for the smooth running of our airports, and the understanding they have of our business positions them perfectly to continue to add great value.”

Steve Harris, managing director, Polymorph, continued: “This is great news for Polymorph, as we can expand our offering and experience across different areas of the airport, showing our versatility in all areas of IT consultancy and software design. It is also testament to the ethos at Polymorph, of building lasting and valuable partnerships with our customers, giving them the best service possible.”
