Not long ago I was at a coffee shop discussing travels, politics and intellectual pursuits for knowledge and the other person asked me; How Does One Decide to Start a Think Tank? We had previously in the conversation exchanged business cards and in my retirement I started an Online Think Tank, with the noble goals of fixing the world. Obviously, easier said than done right? Surely, like I said it is work in progress?
The Online Think Tank is my creation. The idea came from several places, kind of cut and paste of observations over my lifetime. Once I went to a website and talked to a guy who wanted to network all think tanks on the planet (he never did, just put links on a website?). Nevertheless, his noble calling also made sense to me.
Having had a career in franchising, it made me think about producing unique think tanks, which were not so politically engrained and networking them together like a franchise system. And this thought I had from a very young age, kind of re-thinking it now, in a different way;

I am suppose to fix the World, that is why I am here of course, everyone needs a sense of purpose and well, I guess I like to think bigger than most. Of course the Universe will be the real challenge once this is done. First things first right? So, this is why I started the Online Think Tank you see to propel thought in 2007.
