Maintaining Multiple Websites
« Posted: July 29, 2007, 09:59:36 AM »

People who operate multiple websites will know what I mean…

You make great money but it can be hard to keep your sites constantly updated.

It gets hard to grow your business because you have to spend more time on maintenance and are left with less time to research for new projects.

I mean, there is no doubt that to maintain a great website that people are wanting to visit continually, fresh, exciting, newly updated content is needed. Not only that but if you are planning on getting continual search engine spider activity to ensure your sites gets in and stays in the SE rankings, you are going to keep your content RIPE!

The question is how? With many sites, all requiring new content, it becomes very difficult to keep them all running…. But not necessarily.

The smarter among us have found a way to create, maintain and update multiple websites without all the effort.

Firstly for my content sites I tend to prefer blogs for a few reasons.

1. When you do update them it is far easier to do so.

2. More search engine spider activity from pinging.

3. The magic of automatic blog posting scripts!

Automatic blog posting scripts are pieces of software that you can upload to a domain, set a bunch of parameters and have relevant content continually posted to these domains on a schedule that you set!

Does that make sense? It’s like there is a ghost who searches out content that readers of your site would be interested in and posts it to your blog for you!

Scripts like this are particularly great for Adsense publishers and affiliate marketers. Think about it… If it were that easy to setup affiliate sites or adsense sites with great content, that people would be drawn to and that would be sure to make you money? How many would you make? After all you don’t have to maintain them anymore! Nothing is holding you back.

It’s a very exciting concept, and one that smart web publishers and marketers are taking advantage of on a massive scale. Afterall one of the keys to business success is leverage or automation. The more of your work you can have done by something or someone other than you, the more power you ultimately have and the more potential for pure profit in your business!

Andrew Hansen is the apprentice to an online marketing guru and has learnt in just a few months how to make a full time income from his online ventures. He endorses “RSS to Blog” as the best way to maintain and profit from multiple content websites. For more information see http://www.viralinstigator.com/blog
