Job Description
- Baan Software Developers report to the Baan Development Team Leader in Bangalore, India and are part of the India based development team.
- Primary job responsibilities include reviewing functional specifications, documenting technical specifications, changing Baan software objects, and performing unit and integration testing.
- They work with the India team along with analysts and project managers in the US.
- Occasional travel to the US for training and coordination will be required.
- Baan Software Developers must be proven developers, team players, collaborators, and communicators.
- They must be compatible with Microchip's culture
Essential Function
- Systems Analysis Must be able to understand functional and systems requirements and create technical specifications.
- Baan Development Must have proven Baan development skills with experience creating and modifying Baan IV tables, sessions, reports, scripts, forms, and menus in a UNIX environment.
- Experience using ERP LN on Stores and Dev Tools project will be an added advantage.
- Unit and Integration Testing Must have proven experience executing effective unit tests and participating in integration tests.
- Teamwork and Culture Must be culturally compatible with Microchip's values based culture.
- Candidate must be able to work in a collaborative environment with both individual and team decision making.
- Fresh college graduates with a good aptitude; exposure to ERP, Database, UNIX and strong programming skills will be considered
