Packaging Engineer
Analyses customer application management requirements to determine appropriate solutions. Designs, authors, tests, documents and debugs application packages based on system and customer requirements
Principal Accountabilities
Maintains packaging, QA and verification workflows, lessons learned logs and other centralised documentation
Conducts mentoring and training
Designs, authors, tests, documents and debugs application packages according to the customer's standards, policies and procedures.
Creates application packaging test and development environments
Defines corporate packaging standards and strategies
Provides technical pre-sales presentations and general packaging consultancy
Provides metrics and reports to customers and management

Packages applications as per customer requirements.

Knowledge and Skills
Basic understanding of Windows Installer concepts and packaging tools: Wise Package Studio/Install Shield/SoftGrid.
Knows the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to application packaging.
Basic knowledge of operating system, scripting languages
