Job Description Responsibilities
Create and maintain some/all of the following documentation deliverables for different release cycles of a product:
Getting started
Configuration guide
Administration guide
Installation / upgrade / migration guide
Security guide
Developer guide
Release notes
Online help
Tutorials
In addition to the above deliverables, you may also need to contribute or the following:
Terminology standardization
Product usability Contribution to other forms of product rollout material (Presentations / tutorials / learning maps / collaterals / white papers and so on)
Desired Profile Educational Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Qualification:
B.Tech (Computer Science /Telecommunication / Electronics) or MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science) or Masters in Mass Communications / Journalism or a certified course in technical writing
1-4 years experience in technical writing

Mandatory Experience
Should be working for a Software company(Fulltime)
Should have owned and completed at least one technical documentation deliverable
Thorough understanding on SLDC and DDLC
Excellent command over English grammar
Hands-on experience on at least one authoring tool (other than MS Word)
Good understanding on company-specific or general S&G of writing
Thorough understanding on any information design methodology
Experience in communicating with clients across locations
