www.adarobotics.comMechanical Engineers will be responsible for the design and development of robotic components of multiple complexity levels. These components will act as the building blocks for complete robotic systems.
Mechanical Engineers are expected to conceptualize and realize both the abstract design of the entire system as well as the detailed design of the individual components with a special focus on interfaces.
Electronic Engineers will be responsible in 'adding intelligence' to the mechanical components by the use of readily available microprocessors and related electronics. The focus will be to develop the electronic circuitry of the components by maximizing the use and reuse of standard electronic systems.
Electronic Engineers are also expected to create the device interface to the software by developing an API for the electro mechanical components.
Computer Scientists / Engineers will be responsible for the system programming and robot software tools design and development. The key focus will be software tools for robot application programming and control, behaviour based robotics, AI, Genetic Programming, Neural Networks and Vision Systems.
CSEs are expected to work on the high level device interfacing (e.g RFID) and use the latest software technologies applicable to robotic systems.
