One of the reasons the person to person auction sites are so successful is the ease of offering your product for bid. At eBay, you simply fill out a form available at their home page, click the sell your item icon, and then enter a short, descriptive title of the product and a complete description of the item. From there, eBay takes over. You set a minimum price that you would sell called the minimum bid and their software automatically assigns a bidding increment. The increments are kept small to encourage more bidding. You can even advertise the existence of your auction to all of eBay.
