New features added to UK’s leading property management & accounting software now available for use
London, February 22nd 2016 – Today, the latest version of Grosvenor Systems Propman property management and accounting software, Propman X4 is available for use by existing and new customers. The new version features more than 100 software enhancements to improve users’ day-to-day operations. Uniquely among property management system suppliers, all software enhancements are free of charge for Propman customers, rather than being provided via new chargeable modules.
Propman X4 includes new workflow functionality and a notification centre to streamline daily tasks, alongside a new supplier portal, which is set to transform the traditional supplier/contractor interaction.
The software took two years to develop in close collaboration with Grosvenor’s customers. Gary Tarrant, head of operations at Trinity Estates, has been involved in the project.
“We’ve been working with Propman since Trinity was established in 1999, and we’ve always seen the products developing ahead of the market,” he commented. “The new workflow feature will be a massive help for us. It will streamline our processes and the event alerts will remove the possibility of any tasks being accidentally overlooked. This means that we can offer our own customers an even better service. Propman has always stood out from the competition with its focus on customers and this development is exactly what we need.”
Nic Dodwell, managing director of Grosvenor Systems, said:
“In 25 years, a great deal has changed in the property industry. Technology allows a vast increase in productivity, and real time access to information and communication 24/7 via a wide range of devices. We are constantly evolving our Propman software to meet the needs of our customers, ensuring that we keep our position as a leader in the accounting and property management marketplace.”
Key features of the new release include
•Templates for business process workflows - this allows for individual tasks to be allocated to a specific user or job role and sets a time frame for completion. Business process events can be created automatically or on a regular basis, or manually.
•A notification service centre – which provides users with a daily task list that is updated in real time. Notifications will be triggered when jobs, diary events or business process events are allocated, when supplier invoices requiring authorisation are entered in the system, and if communications from tenants, suppliers or clients are entered via the Propman Online web portals.
•The supplier web portal – this has transformed the traditional supplier/contractor interaction by allowing suppliers to view the jobs allocated to them, flag them as work complete and upload their invoices directly into the system. Additionally, suppliers can upload required documentation such as PI Insurance for authorisation by property managers.
•Enhanced supplier approval process – allow suppliers to upload their compliance details to Propman via the supplier portal. Through integration with the Propman jobs function, users can set up an unlimited number of approval dates and are notified whether the supplier is approved to carry out a particular piece of maintenance work. Users and suppliers are also notified when approval dates expire.
