PayPal joins Star Micronics to demonstrate industry’s largest range of mPOS Bluetooth and Cloud Tablet Printing Solutions at Apps World 2015
At Apps World 2015 (18 - 19 November 2015, ExCel, London), international POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics (Stand 404) will be joined by payment provider PayPal and will be exhibiting its ever expanding range of tablet POS printing solutions. In particular, Star will be demonstrating its latest innovations including a digital receipting service AllReceipts™ and all-in-one Bluetooth printer and cash drawer mobile point of purchase solution mPOP™.

With zero development required, AllReceipts is enabled within the Star TSP100 printer driver and works independently of a retailer’s POS software. Triggered by a traditional printed receipt, a digital copy of the receipt is sent to the AllReceipts App on the customer’s mobile with no email address required.
Star’s new mobile point of purchase solution mPOP™ combines a 58mm Bluetooth thermal printer with a cash drawer and works with all major operating systems including iOS, Android and Windows to provide users with a versatile solution that is ready to work with a chosen mobile, software and card payment system. Bluetooth connectivity results in only one mains cable being required for full operation while the mPOP LED display will quickly determine pairing status as well as any issues such as paper out, etc. With 4 USB ports, additional tablet, phone, scanner, etc charging is available from the one cable.
For web-based solutions, Star WebPRNT provides simple platform agnostic receipt printing direct from web based applications to the industry’s largest range of Bluetooth printers, using Star’s new WebPRNT Browser or via a ‘plug-in’ interface option.
