Star and Intelligent Point of Sale have successfully partnered for a number of years with the software provider having integrated a number of Star printing solutions. The partnership caters for the needs of hospitality operators of all sizes with Bluetooth printing solutions that offer the very latest in mPOS technology. For the smaller operator, Star has developed the new, all-in-one Bluetooth printer and cash drawer mobile point of purchase solution mPOP™. Outstanding connectivity and compact design alongside intuitive functionality define Star’s unique easily integrated solution.
mPOP works with all major operating systems including Apple iOS, Android and Windows to provide users with a versatile solution that is ready to work with a chosen mobile, software and card payment system. Bluetooth connectivity results in only one mains cable being required for full operation while the mPOP LED display will quickly determine pairing status as well as any issues such as paper out, etc. With 4 USB ports, additional tablet, phone, scanner, etc charging is available from the one cable.
Simple and stylish, the lightweight and portable solution is just 10cm high and 30cm wide with a sleek design that will complement any counter top. Alternatively, mPOP with front feed receipting can easily be secured under the counter for enhanced space-saving. With intuitive top loading and easy front feed as well as a partial cut guillotine, the reliable 100mm/second printer automatically cuts the 58mm wide receipt.
For larger operators, Star provides a high speed, versatile, space saving solution that is currently in use within the large scale fast food sector. The versatile FVP10 printer offers high speed performance, paper saving features as well as a new method of user and printer interaction. The printer allows barcodes, receipts, tickets and labels to be printed on media from 0.065 to 0.15mm in thickness with flexible linear paper width adjustment from 58 to 80mm providing complete application functionality.
With a compact footprint, shelf mount option and pull-out drawer style allowing for under the counter positioning and true ‘Drop-In & Print’ paper loading, this printer is the ideal space-saving solution. Offering high-quality 203 dpi output at print speeds up to 250mm/second and unique printer speech/voice function for notification of output status (which can be used with or without external speaker), the FVP10 combined with the Star CB2002 cash drawer and Intelligent POS software provides the hospitality sector with a versatile and intuitive mPOS solution.
