London/York, United Kingdom - February 2 2015 - Former golf world number one Lee Westwood, today released a cutting-edge new training app which will help people significantly improve their game.
Developed by British firm 2mee ltd, Lee Westwood's Official Golf Masterclass uses Ultra Reality technology that allows golfers to use their smartphone to play side-by-side with Lee Westwood. Users can record footage of their swing side-by-side with Lee and learn from one of the best golfers in the world.
Unlike any training aid on the market, Lee Westwood's Official Golf Masterclass seamlessly brings Lee to the user's environment as if he is actually there playing with them, so they can compare and improve their swing planes, mechanics and posture.
Users have the ability drag and drop Lee on their screens, resize him, change angles and even make him left handed, so they can synchronise their swing perfectly with Lee's. Users can also compare their swing with Lee from various angles, to analyse all aspects of their swing, posture and mechanics.
The app also lets people work with different clubs, swing strengths and in-game situations. Players can analyse their drive, approach and shots from the rough or sand traps. There is also club recommendations and additional coaching from PGA professionals.
