Free Core i7 mounting adapter tips up

AUSTRIAN CPU cooler brand, Noctua, has given Core i7 upgraders an early Christmas gift of sorts. The company has announced it’ll be giving away LGA775-to-LGA1366 adapters so that any Noctua – and probably most CPU coolers on the market after 2005 – will be able to mount on Intel’s new flagship CPUs.The name of the device is 'SecuFirm2' and, according to Noctua, makes installing the cooler on the CPU even easier than before. The whole thing is free, but you’ll have to provide a proof of purchase in the form of a scan, photo or screen cap of the invoice so the amicable chaps at Noctua can senden you die kühler.
