Ken Goldman and James H. Hodge Bring Broad Experience and Solid Track Record of Success to Ingres
Slough, United Kingdom, 25th February 2008 — Ingres Corporation, a leading open source information management company for enterprise applications, today announced that it has appointed two prestigious new board members. Ken Goldman and James H. Hodge bring a wealth of experience in business strategy and financial management to the Ingres board.
Ken Goldman, recently appointed CFO of Fortinet, is a technology industry veteran and combines expertise in operations, finance, and technology business management. He served as senior vice president, finance and administration, and CFO of Siebel Systems from August 2000 until the close of Oracle Corporation’s acquisition in January 2006.
Previously, Goldman has held CFO positions at Excite@Home, Sybase, Inc., Cypress Semiconductor, and VLSI Technology. Additionally, his experience includes board director, audit committee chairman, and financial advisory roles at several leading public and private technology companies. He is a member and the former president of The Financial Executive Institute, Santa Clara chapter, and formerly an advisory council member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASAC) (2000 - 2004). In addition, Goldman is a trustee at Cornell University. He will serve as head of the audit committee as part of his role on the Ingres board.

In addition, James H. Hodge, treasurer at Computer Associates (CA), has joined the Ingres board. Prior to CA, Hodge worked as a consultant on treasury and financial issues with Greenwich Treasury Advisors and Treasury Strategies, and was senior vice president at Lexecon, the preeminent consulting firm. He also worked as a treasurer at several technology companies, including AT&T and IBM, and was deeply involved in their financial restructuring. Respected as an authority in economics, he has taught at NYU since 2005.
