Looking for Stipendiary Trainee- Scientific Assistant

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) a Public Sector Enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India under the Administrative control of DAE, is involved in design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Station for Generation of Electricity. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of Stipendiary Trainees as detailed below:-
Stipendiary Trainee- Scientific Assistant
Educational qualification: Diploma OR Licentiate with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering or Licentiate should be of three years duration after SSC.
b) Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
Age limit as on 1st Nov 2007: 18 to 25 years
Physical Standard
Minimum Height : 160 cms (5’3")
Minimum Weight : 45.5 Kgs. (100 lbs)
I. Compensation package : During the training period of eighteen months the Trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs. 6500 per month (consolidated) and on successful completion of training, the Stipendiary Trainees/SA may be absorbed as Scientific Assistant ‘B’ in the scale of pay of Rs. 5500-175-9000, along with other benefits and allowances as admissible from time to time.
II. Duration of training : The duration of the training shall be 1 ½ years (18 months).
The trainees will have to undergo training at one or more Nuclear Power Plants located at Tarapur (Maharashtra), Kota(Rajasthan), Narora (U.P), Kalpakkam (Tamil Nadu), Kaiga (Karnataka), Kakrapar (Gujarat) and KKNPP (Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu).
Bond : The selected candidates will be required to execute bond for serving in NPCIL for a period of five (5) years after training.
HOW TO APPLY :
1. Candidates must apply in the Common Application Format of NPCIL.
2. The application should be as per the proforma given in the advertisement and preferably typed on A4 size (21 c.m. x 29.5 c.m) paper. Alternatively the application format can be downloaded from our Website
www.npcil.org.
3. Applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of testimonials of SSC/HSC Marksheets/certificates mentioning Date of Birth, Educational and Technical Qualification should be sent to Post Box No. 7049, Indraprastha Head Post Office, New Delhi - 110 002 The application and the outer cover should be superscribed with "APPLICATION FOR STIPENDIARY TRAINE ESCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT – 2007, ‘so as to reach on or before the closing date.
4. Candidate should clearly note that the NPCIL will in no case be responsible for any incomplete application, non-receipt of their application or any delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever. No application received after the prescribed last date will be entertained under any circumstances and all the late applications will be summarily rejected. They should therefore, ensure that their applications reach above address on or before the prescribed last date
