Cornwall, 4 December 2007: Free classifieds site, itsmymarket.com, today launches its latest photography competition, designed to celebrate the past year. The aim of the nationwide competition is to discover the photograph that best represents 2007.
The photograph can be based on any theme, from a current affairs issue to a scenic shot - anything that captures the spirit of 2007. Previous competitions have seen as many as 15,000 entries.
The competition encourages itsmymarket.com users to share photos and experiences, and comment on the submitted photos. Users can also get involved with the judging process by visiting the site and rating their favourite photographs.
Tom Probst, managing director of itsmymarket.com said: The competition enhances the current user experience at itsmymarket.com allowing visitors to further engage with the site in addition to placing classified advertisements. Our photo competitions always capture a lot of interest and we hope to see some enlightening photographs.
The competition will run for four weeks and will close on Sunday 30 December. The winning photograph will then be chosen from the 20 highest rated photos by the panel of judges. The winner will receive a Canon EOS 350D Digital SLR camera including an 18-55mm lens kit supplied by price comparison site savebuckets.com.
