IPGCL & PPCL came into existence on 01.07.2002 after unbundling of D.V.B into six entities. The main function of IPGCL is generation of electricity with an installed capacity of 994.5 MW & 2750 MW capacity addition in pipeline. Under IPGCL three power station are in operation: Indraprastha Power Station, Rajghat Power Station, Gas Turbine Power Station. Pragati Power Corporation Ltd has Pragati Power Station. Pay Scale
The Executive Trainees shall be paid a stipend of Rs.15,000/-(Rupees fifteen thousand) per month. No perks /allowances are attached with stipend during training period. On successful completion of training of one year they shall be inducted in the Company as Assistant Manager in pay scale of Rs 7750-250-8000-275-9100-10350-350-12100-400-14500/- with initial start of Rs.8550/-. In addition to above HRA, CCA, DA & other benefits etc. shall also be applicable as per CDA scales/Central Government rules. The total emoluments at the initial stage comes to Rs.23,000/- (approx). In addition, they will be entitled for LTC and Medical benefits, etc.
