Brazil – home to one of the world’s most vibrant economies and a leader in the adoption of IPTV technology – is to host January’s IPTV World Forum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (

The event is being staged at The Intercontinental Hotel in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil from the 29th to the 30th of January 2008. The show comes at a time when the Americas are showing phenomenal IPTV growth – up fourfold in the last two years alone*. It will explore the challenges and the potential for IPTV in Latin America and the issues surrounding its deployment within the region.
