ELIGIBILITY :
A) For Assistant Engineer (Post at Sl. No. 1 & 2)
(i) Qualification:
Discipline
Grouping of Branches of Engineering
Electronics
Electronics, Electronics & Communication,
Electronics & Telecommunication
Mechanical
Mechanical Engineering
Graduates in any of the above branches of Engineering with First Class Degree as awarded by the University/Institute in respect of General/OBC category candidates (Second class (50% Marks) in respect of SC/STs categories) from any recognised University/ Institution.
OR
Degree with minimum of 60% Marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/ Years or equivalent CGPA ratings in the Engineering Degree examination in respect of General/OBC category candidates (50% Marks) in respect of SC/STs categories).
Candidates who have passed their final examination and obtained the prescribed percentage of marks as on the last date of receipt of application i.e. 10-10-2007 need only apply.
B) Safety Officer (Post at Sl. No. 3)
(i) Qualification:
(a) First Class Degree in Mechanical/Mechanical & Production Engineering as awarded by the University/Institute.
OR
Degree with minimum of 60% Marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/ Years
or equivalent CGPA ratings in the Engineering Degree examination.
AND
(b) One year Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute / Central
Labour Institute
(ii) EXPERIENCE
The candidates should possess 2 years post qualification experience for the post of Safety Officer (Grade-II). The nature of experience required for the subject post is as follows:
Q Should have experience in Plant Inspection/ supervision of industry.
Q Should be able to co-ordinate with Factory Inspector with respect to Accidents etc.
Q Should be familiar with Pollution control activities.
Q Should be able to educate and provide training regarding safety aspects to the employees of the Company.
Q Should be conversant with the statutory requirements with respect to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Q Should have sound conceptual and Analytical abilities for ensuring effective decision making.
Q Preference will be given to the candidates who are well conversant with local language i.e. Telugu.
Further, the candidates should have completed 2 years of service in the immediate lower grade or in equivalent post.
