Job Description
1.Preparing data for auditing- importing data into MS Access, Excel or SQL Query Analyser
2.Data auditing - undertaking checks on the data
3.Recording results in audit report and preparing exhibits
4.Implementing changes to the data following the Client's response to the audit report
5.Preparing model input files & importing data into models
6.Setting up and running multiple catastrophe models
7.Preparation of catastrophe modeling reports
8.Undertaking model sensitivity analysis of catastrophe modeling software

Desired Profile The role requires organizational skills, the capability to see the wider picture while maintaining an eye for detail, and the ability to maintain a rigorous process and high quality output under time pressure.
Successful candidates will be degree educated, ideally have experience of working within the insurance industry and will be confident with computers and figures
This position is based in Mumbai-India.
Required Qualifications
Good data management skills i.e. should have basic/working knowledge of MS-Access, SQL Server.
Effective oral and written English communication skills.
Should be fully conversant with MS-Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Power point).
Experience in using AIR/RMS/ EQE catastrophe modelling software would be an advantage.
Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and GIS packages (i.e. ArcMap etc) is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical aptitude & attitude.
Graduate degree in mathematics / geography / statistics / economics / physics / insurance / civil engineering, preferably with some experience in analytic roles. Post graduate i.e. Masters degree would be a beneficial additional qualification.
