Winter Scott LLP Adopts Email and Document Management Solution for Ease of SRA Compliance, Enhanced Data Security and Fee Earner Productivity
London, U.K. – 09 August 2016 – UK-based maritime litigation law firm, Winter Scott LLP, has successfully deployed iManage Work-based email and document management solution from Ascertus Limited, a provider of tailored information and document lifecycle management solutions to law firms. The Ascertus solution is enabling the firm to routinely comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s (SRA) stringent and ever-increasing outcome-focussed regulation. Data security is significantly enhanced and Winter Scott’s fee earners are benefiting from an efficiency and productivity boost, all of which cumulatively is delivering added value to clients.
Winter Scott chose the solution from Ascertus based on recommendations for iManage Work from a number of the firm’s client organisations. Ascertus’ extensive experience and proven reputation in delivering customised solutions to law firms was a major factor in the decision-making process. Users access the system from within Outlook, which is similar to how emails and documents were managed by fee earners previously. Also, fee earners are able to easily locate emails and documents as the solution facilitates contextual searches. Winter Scott is now also able to provide clear audit trails to demonstrate compliance of data and information management processes to the SRA.
Ascertus has tightly integrated the email and document management system with Linetime, Winter Scott’s practice management system. Duplication of data is now minimised; there is a single and secure version of the truth across the organisation.
