Eight weeks doesn’t sound like a lot in the grand scheme of large enterprise IT deployments. But that’s all it took for the international commodities firm Klesch Group to implement Aspect’s cloud E/CTRM solution across its oil, feedstocks and petrochemicals business. Furthermore, this was implemented by Klesch Group’s own IT people.
Following a rigorous and wide ranging evaluation of several potential products, Klesch decided to choose AspectCTRM. The decision was made due to the capabilities the solution provides Klesch with including the ability to handle physical and derivative trades, the ease of upgrading and adding new functionality, handling of multiple commodity types and sheer speed and responsiveness in operation. The capabilities that the solution offers allowed for implementation in record time.
Discussing the implementation, Paul Dorrell, project director at Klesch explained:
