Ergoe Energy App to help consumers switch energy suppliers21st March 2016 Ergoe Energy Ltd announces today the launch of their crowdfunding campaign for additional funding to develop the Ergoe Energy App which will enable domestic and small business users to switch energy suppliers more easily and automate access to lower-cost energy tariffs. The company is offering equity in exchange for funding via the SEEDRS crowdfunding portal.
The Ergoe Energy App initially for Android and iOS platforms will manage energy supplier tariffs and micro-transactions for users, ultimately drawing upon the data recorded by installed Smart Meters.
Toby Gawin, CEO of Ergoe Energy announced, “Worldwide Energy generation is gradually extricating itself from the current heavily centralised model and moving towards a much more efficient distributed system utilising new generation technologies. The initial version of the Ergoe Energy APP will initially simply help users better manage their current energy suppliers and save them unnecessary costs, but further down our development track, we envisage that it will allow users to both buy and sell energy produced in the home via the growing number of installed renewable sources.”
