Tengi rewards users with super prize draw
Sheffield, 18 February 2016 – On 26th February 2016, users of Tengi, a UK-based chat app for mobile phones, will be able to win a top prize of £10,000 in a free prize draw. In total 1,205 prizes will be won, with one lucky winner scooping £10,000 and multiple prizes of £25 and £5.
Tengi is the chat app that gives back, and is the only app on the market to recognise and reward its users by giving away 50% of all its revenues to its users. It runs weekly prize draws with a top prize of £1,000, but on Friday 26th February there will be a one-off £10,000 prize draw for users of the app.
Tengi CEO Neil Laycock commented, “£10,000 is a fantastic prize, making Tengi, which is free to download and use, even more appealing to its users. All people have to do to be entered into the prize draw is download the app between now and 26th February, add a phone contact to Tengi and keep it installed.”
The Sheffield-built chat app launched nationally on 4th February 2016 after a successful regional beta. Its regular weekly prize draws enable users to win cash prizes of £1,000, £25 or £5 or Amazon.co.uk Gift Codes of £5. Alternatively winners can donate their prize to Tengi’s charity partner, the Heart of England Forest.
To date, over 16,000 cash prizes have been won in the weekly prize draws and Tengi has given away more than £100,000. To be entered into the weekly prize draw, all users have to do is download and chat using the app to get tickets for the draw.
Tengi hopes that this won’t be the only £10,000 prize draw it will offer.
“We return 50% of our revenue to users, so as more people join Tengi, the prizes will increase,” Laycock added. “We’ve already given away over £100,000 and have many happy winners. We want to be able to give away even more.”
Tengi is available to users on both iOS and Android and is a robust, simple to install and easy to use chat app. The app features text and multimedia sharing (including images, video and audio), easy access to contacts and group chat with up to 100 friends at once. It’s free to download and Tengi will never charge people for using it.
