The Titan 160 incorporating an Intel Celeron M1037M 1.8Ghz dual processor is benchmarked as one of the fastest processors in its class. The Titan 160 is supplied with PCT (Projected Capacitive) touchscreen panel as standard which is far superior to the traditional resistive touch panels that are still available in the market. The overall characteristics of such PCT touch screens include the fact that unlike resistive film touch panels, they do not respond to touch by staff sign on cards or pens which would normally cause damage to the touch screen. Operation is by finger or a special stylus giving the touch panel a much longer life. PCT screens feature a strong resistance to dust and water drops and high durability and scratch resistance. In addition, their light transmittance is higher, therefore increasing the brightness and quality of the display. The Titan 160 is now supplied with a 64GB SSD drive which in local tests increases boot up and operational performance with added reliability over and above the standard HHD.
