Information Builders Recognises Customers With 2015 Awards of Distinction
Recipients Honored by BI and Analytics Leader at Annual Summit User Conference
Orlando, FL - June 1, 2015 - At its annual Summit User Conference, Information Builders, a leader in business intelligence (BI) and analytics, information integrity, and integration solutions, today announced the winners of its 2015 Awards of Distinction. Information Builders will present the following companies with Awards of Distinction during the opening ceremony at Summit 2015:
BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the largest health plan in the state with approximately 3 million members, leveraged BI and analytics to deliver better quality service and improve customer health. The organisation tapped Information Builders' WebFOCUS platform to create a Provider Quality Portal that enables contracted healthcare providers to engage non-compliant plan members and close gaps in care.
Hertz, the largest worldwide airport general use car rental company, has used Information Builders' WebFOCUS to innovate a new web-based tool for the automotive insurance replacement market. The tool provides real-time Hertz rental reporting and analytics to repair shops through a web portal. Hertz's portal provides key parties involved in a vehicle claim - insurance companies, body shops, and Hertz - access to real-time BI and analytics to manage performance indicators and improve service to the customer.
Michigan State Police turned to Information Builders to develop a more consistent method for gathering and analysing accident and crime data among its more than 1,000 law enforcement agents. Together, the organisations created a Law Enforcement Analytics (LEA) dashboard, allowing commanders to monitor their troopers, review crime rates, and determine where traffic accidents occur, among other functionalities. An Esri integration offers powerful mapping functionality, and WebFOCUS Active Technologies ensure users can easily analyse and manipulate the data even in the field.
Tata Steel, one of the world's largest steel producers, uses Information Builders' technology to improve visibility into its materials pipeline and link its global supply chain with real-time data. The company's WebFOCUS and iWay integration technology support a system called RAPID, which gathers data about stocks, deliveries, invoices, production plans, and more. As a result of RAPID's implementation, Tata has reduced costs and accelerated the integration of its European operation while simultaneously enhancing information sharing throughout the organisation.
Vree Health develops and markets population health management solutions that bring together technology and personal care, giving patients, family caregivers, and providers the help they need. The company's technology platform, EngageAdvantage, integrates with workflows and centralises the patient's health information, enabling healthcare providers to create personalized care plans. In order to create a copy of the electronic health records and ensure the accuracy of patient data, Vree Health turned to Information Builders' iWay Integration and Master Data Suites. The latter creates a patient index that correctly identifies each patient across all providers, while the iWay Integration Suite interfaces EngageAdvantage with the information systems of numerous healthcare providers.
